About
Designed to celebrate & honour the 20th anniversary of the founding of the Immigrations & Checkpoint Authority of Singapore, the ICA Heritage Gallery is a microsite that can be accessed from the agency's main site.
Through the seamless integration of animation and immersive design elements, visitors are transported on a captivating journey through time, delving into the significant milestones that have contributed to shaping the enduring legacy of the ICA in Singapore.
Design approach
Inspired by the concept of an ‘interactive gallery’, the ICA Heritage Site was crafted to provide users with an immersive digital experience, inviting them to virtually step into its halls and explore the rich tapestry of its history.
Lobby
Users begin in the gallery's lobby, where they can select one of the four doors representing different story points in ICA's history.
Rooms
Users are invited to delve deeper into the organisation’s history by interacting with the animated 'exhibits' to find out more information about its various pillars.
Exhibits
Users may interact with clickable exhibits to explore more information about each topic. Each exhibit meticulously illustrated and animated to represent various facets of ICA's history.
Navigating the gallery
An overview of all accessible exhibits may be viewed by interacting with the Heritage Site’s hamburger menu. Users can effortlessly navigate between exhibits by clicking on the menu options.
Mobile responsive
The gallery may also be viewed on mobile devices. Users may explore the exhibits by swiping left and right to move through the room.
